• Misrepresent output from this site as certified engineering or life-safety compliance documentation.

4. Camera Sensor Accuracy & Hardware Calibration

The Camera Lux Meter utilizes your device's built-in optical sensor or webcam. You acknowledge and accept that:

• Consumer smartphone cameras and webcams lack calibrated cosine diffusers, calibrated color filters, and laboratory photodiode sensors found in certified scientific lux meters (e.g. NIST-traceable equipment).
• Readings may vary based on smartphone manufacturer auto-exposure routines, lens coatings, ambient infrared radiation, and device operating system firmware.
• LightBrightness.com provides a sensitivity calibration slider to adjust relative readings against known reference baselines, but makes no warranty regarding absolute photometric accuracy.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

The design, brand name, logo, 3D character models, inverse kinematics logic, custom WebGL lighting shaders, and original analytical articles on LightBrightness.com are the exclusive intellectual property of LightBrightness.com and are protected under international copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws.
